Happy 256 Day!
No, we’re not making it up. There is a 256 Day. It’s even international, celebrated in 40 countries around the globe. Very kind of them. We’re kinda chuffed about it to be honest.
And, guess what? It’s today.
256 is a very important number in digital terms. There are 256 values in an 8-bit byte, the foundation of all things programming. So on the 256th day of the year, programmers the world over pat themselves on the back and say, ‘We’re great altogether’.
This is actually where the name 256 Media derives from. So we are going to have a bit of cake later.
And if the budget extends and the cake is big enough, we may even stick 256 candles on it.
Much to celebrate this 256 Day
They say the heart of rock’n’roll is in Cleveland (according to Huey Lewis). Well, the heart of Content Marketing has also been in Cleveland this week.
We’ve made our first trip to participate in Content Marketing World, the biggest content marketing gig on the planet. And boy, has it lived up to expectations. We can’t wait to share what we’ve learned with you.
